Who else is pumped about this game?!?!

I've gotten it every year since it came out in the PS2.
Best sports game available!
I guess they've added a ton to this year's version, and a lot to Road to the Show.

I think it comes out in a week or two...can't wait!

    crap, that game looks amazing! why why why can't it come out on 360!

    my buddy has ps3 and we play '09 a lot. just looking at those clips, looks like they made some serious upgrades for the '10 version.

    anyone hear what MLB 2K10 is doing? they are awarding 1 million dollars to the first person that pitches a perfect game.

    March 2nd!!!

    While my 360 typically gets most of my playing time, that changes every March. This game is far and away the pinnacle of sports gaming (well, NHL 10 is right up there too) and plenty of reason alone to pick up a PS3.

    Seriously, it can and will own your soul if you let it. My PS3 didn't see another game for months when I first got the system.

    I agree, best sports game out there. Last years was amazing and this years should rock as well!

    Can't wait for the baseball season to start!

    The exclusive games for PS3 make it totally worthwhile to get the system. My xbox shit the best a year ago and I haven't even considered repairing it. I was playing the PS3 90% of the time anyway.

    I was playing some '09 last night and forgot how much I love Road to the Show.
    Next thing I knew 4 hours had passed...


    I read on IGN (or was it Gamespot) about all the RTTS upgrades this year. Going to be amazing.
    I guess they've added a lot more training this year too which includes defense.

    I've never been huge on baseball games....at least not since Ken Griffey baseball for N64 (one of my top 5 games ever). I might give baseball a shot this year. It'll be tough though becaue FIFA has been taking up a lot of my PS3 time.

    CANNOT wait. I try not to be a video game nerd, but shit, this game draws me in like a 12 year old pizza faced tween. Best game franchise is any sport/genre EVER.

    Only thing is my roommate moved out and took the PS3 with him. If anyone is looking to sell a PS3, or knows anyone that is, PM me.

    I really am a nerd. I buy this on the day it comes out and start in Spring Training - the entire schedule. N-E-R-D. GEEEEEEK.

    I'm going to buy this... and it'll be interesting to see how much time it takes away from FIFA.

    FIFA is amazing. Before I downloaded the demo, I fucking hated soccer. Since playing that demo with my buddy, I have purchased the game and a Liverpool jersey. Most impressive, I have watched a live soccer game from start to finish.

    Can't wait to pick this up tomorrow. Although I don't know how I'm going to find time to play all these games. Had a marathon session on Heavy Rain on Saturday, hope to beat that tonight. Then MLB The Show this week... next week Final Fantasy, and then God of War III. Need to take a vacation from work :D

    Can't wait for my copy to arrive from Amazon tomorrow. The Show is the only game I purchased in the last year because I just couldn't stop playing it.

    My only decision now is whether to go out at midnight or not since Gamestop is apparently doing a midnight sale due to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 coming out.

    Woah! Thanks for the heads up. I haven't turne on my ps3 in a while and was going to tonight. I will have to research more when I get home.

    Well. Just played my first game. Yanks vs astros. So far I give it a 7.5 out of 10. Can't wait to try the road to the show.

    Pre-ordered my copy from Amazon last week, probably won't get it until the end of the week. Until then I will be playing Heavy Rain to pass time.

    that was just my impression after playing a quick game. Im sure it will increase once I dive into it. Can't wait for the catchers mode in road to the show.

    My RTTS pitcher has already been injured twice in his first season. Other then that I'm having a blast playing the game.

    Yeah, so.....I've been glued to the tube for hours playing this - just awesome.

    PS3 name is 'jearlpam' if anyone wants to get a game going....or maybe we could get a Pit League going on?

    Loaded up my favorite pearl Jam songs so they play during the game. I would be up for a league. I'm not very good though
