Lots of rumors and speculation here. My wishlist for Saturday and Sunday would be Bob Dylan, Sir Paul, Black Crowes, AC/DC.
  • Wolfmother is already confirmed, isn't it?
At least it is what I read at the festival website.

As for the others, I haven't heard anything yet... fingers crossed for something like Red Hot Chili Peppers or Incubus... maybe the incredible return of Soundgarden, how about that?

    Just wishful thinking, I know...
But come on... dream the dreams of other men, people!!

Tom Petty would make it a good weekend. I only have tickets for Friday but Tom on Saturday would tempt me with an extra day. I was really hoping for a good line up on PJ's day but if Wolfmother are the main support I'm not convinced the rest of the bill will be that fantastic. No offence to Wolfmother by the way but earlier on the bill would be better. I wanted AIC so badly and when the Soundgarden news broke I really started dreaming....

  • If this is Cameron's last run in the UK with PJ (for a while at least), I wonder if they'll do a few curtain calls at the end of the last encore? It really has been quite a run this past decade for them.
  • It looks like the line-up for the Friday is:

    Pearl Jam
    Ben harper
    Wolfmother
    The Gaslight Anthem
    The Hives

    Right on, buddy!
    confirmed here: http://www.hardrockcalling.co.uk/news/i ... ccddafefde

Ben Harper+Relentless 7 have been touring with PJ in the U.S., I loved their act!! Nice rock'n'roll tunes, great musician and... this guy can take A LOT from his guitar!
It will be fun to check his unusual way to hold the guitar again!

And that means Red Mosquito is a definite in the PJ's setlist, Ben will play along!! It is a pretty good jam!!

I used to like The Hives in the past, now I have to listen to the new stuff again.
Gaslight Anthem I've never heard of! Guess there is time ti get to know them better!
    =)

  • I'm pretty happy with the latest editions, I'm a fan of Ben Harper and really like the album he did with Relentless 7, I would like to see him do some of his own stuff though, mix it up a bit. I've only recently discovered the Gaslight Anthem but I'm loving their debut '59 Sound, defo worth checking out. Can't say I'm too fussed about the Hives but they're on the 2nd stage anyway so will probably give them a miss. Wolfmother should be okay too. I was hoping for AIC or Soundgarden but I guess that was never gonna happen especially the latter!
    My PJ shows:

  • So I wonder who's going to open for the other dates, Wolfmother or Ben? My money's on Ben.

Ben is already confirmed for at least Dublin and Berlin
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Me too, and even if I like Ben Harper, I'm a little bit disappointed.
