Was shuffling through my records, and found a Merkinball 45, with a blue "The Wall Guaranteed" sticker on it. Haha - remember that store! I must have picked this thing up about 15 years ago. So I got to hear I Got Id & Long Road on vinyl on Saturday!

And, oh yeah, it is NOT FOR SALE.

  • The Wall...I remember those. Shitty store in my opinion.

Cool. I just went in my local record store yesterday, was about to leave, when I looked up and saw a Mirrorball vinyl. Needless to say, it came home with me

Yea it was. I know people lament theose record stores going out of business, but all they did was rip people off. $18 CD's - really?

  • Yeah, I always think back in amazement that people in like 1997 walked into a Tower records, or a Strawberries or a Sam Goody and plunked down 18 bucks for a single album.

Ive been blessed with an amazing indie retailer like Newbury Comics nearly my whole life, where cd's have somehow not changed in price ($10 +/- $1).

Yep. I always shop Newbury Comics. Even if I see a CD in Best buy for $10 and Newbury Comics has it for $12, I'll get it there. Such a better enviornment for music. I was in there one day and someone got rid of 5 PJ 2000 Euro boots and they were like $7 each. Can't beat it.

I always look for these first. My buddies make fun of me, saying stuff like "Nobody is gonna bring those in to sell back." I probably would have fainted seeing that sight. You bought them all right? Well, the ones you didn't have already? I felt fortunate to get one at Easy Street a few weeks back for $20!

I don't remember listening to it all that much, but it's certainly not in mint condition anyway. A little crackling. Sounded good enough though!
