is it me or does anyone think that PJ should perform at the half time at the super bowl. they drag out these old bands that i mean are ok. not the same as they were in there primes obviously but still ok. but if pearl jam does it. they are still an active band. they make albums and do tours pretty much every year. i think they would put a much greater show than the who, rolling stones and prince. i thought bruce did a good job last year. bottom line is Pearl Jam for Superbowl 10

Super Bowl X was held January 18, 1976 at the Orange Bowl in Miami. Lynn Swann was the MVP as the Steelers beat the Cowboys 21-17. Ed was 11.

I'm just messing with you my friend. Trying to keep spirits up during these trying times of no shows or news.

If the Packers went to the super bowl and pj played i'd be the happiest person in the whole world. :D
  • I was thinking PJ would be a perfect choice for next year. The recent trend for the SB halftime show is classic rock acts (thanks to Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction) and there aren't too many of them around that haven't already played at the SB so PJ would seem like the logical choice for next year.

Since PJ have been around for about 20 years now, you could put them under the category of "classic rock" if you're into categorizing music. Also, I think we need a band that's maybe a little younger than The Who. They are certainly legendary but they were showing their age during the halftime show.
