This ebay poster sh!t is out of control

does anybody know how to bid correctly?
what the fuck 6 days left & the bid on this poster is at 338.00 shit the buy it now price was only 425.00.

thats why all pj stuff is so fucking expensive. if your going to bid on something wait till the last 5 minutes not 5 days damn....
now its just crazy

    peeps that list the stuff have a 2nd account and
    bid on their own stuff.... to get more cash for it.....

    The problem with auction prices are that people get invested in the item and then it turns into a competition with themselves (and others) where they normally would only buy it now for $X.XX price but keep pushing themselves to bid more because of being outbid. (and the psychology of being so close to getting it.)

    It's simple... only bid what you are willing to pay

    if you don't "win" the auction then you should have been willing to pay more.

    I don't understand why this is so hard for people to understand,

    you're crazy if you think you're going to get a PJ Hawaii poster for less than $300 anyway.

    That poster has never gone for less than $200. It was high right out of the gate.
