    Some cut and paste....a lot of layering and overlapping...bought a spray-on clear coat today to keep everything protected and as it should be...........

    Not always! :D Here's a shot of my Dot. It's a special edition from Epiphone.

    But yep you are right, as far as I've ever heard, the dot neck is why they are called "Dot" guitars.
