I find O'reilly disrespectful with his claims (stoned slackers, etc...) which cheapens his interview.
O reilly really shouldn't bring up the daily show and taking things out of context. THAT IS WHAT FOX NEWS DOES.
His one lame example from taking things out of context was shot right down by Stewart.
Bill was pretty civil and questions he did try to get JS on, was also quickly shot down by JS.\\

the edited version pretty much made Jon look like he was wrong. Then O'Reilly had two people come on after. And tell him how great he was basically.
No it wasn't . :roll: :roll: He gave Jon credit where it was due. which was on several occasions. He could have just sat there and said nothing and you people would make some shit up or post some link to you tube that's 20 years old. You people just don't like O'reilly no matter what he says. 10 YEARS AT # 1... Looks like ol jon boy has got some catchin up to do.
What exactly is wrong with NOT liking O'reilly he's somewhat better than the hideous Hannity. You act as if because you love his high ratings everyone must like him, why?

People are turning Fox because they are sick of all the bias and the insults towards middle america that comes from the other stations. Is fox perfect ? No. Have they made mistakes ? Yes.. Do they lean Right ?(Hannity/Beck/O'reilly) Yes.. But they have guest from both sides when they debate issues.and those are the only shows that are op/ed. The rest of the day is news. So for people to say they are not fair and balanced I disagree with.
people who hate watch also. so they can catch them with their mistakes.

However, Jon shines in the full version. He makes some great points in there.
'American Idol' gets monster ratings... that must mean the best singers come from 'American Idol'. And 'Dancing With The Stars' gets huge ratings.... that must mean it is a great show, right?
Hell... 'Jersey Shore' is MTVs highest rated show... it must mean the Americans want to be moused haired, gym rat douchebags.

And as far as Stewart, consider that an online poll had him rated the most trusted man in America. A comedian becomes the Walter Cronkite of his era.
i only saw about 1/2 of the unedited version then the page froze up but how did he give Jon credit where it was due? right away he put him down by asking if his writers came up with what he said, later he refered to him as "you and your pinhead writers" and when he addressed someone's article saying he was too critical of Obama on the Daily Show and his "slacker, stoner audience who loves Obama" would turn on him and asked "would you really turn on your guy? is that the kind of guy you are?" what was that supposed to mean? is that the kind of guy he is?? as if Bill would be happier if Jon only sung Obama's praises, i'm sure he wouldn't complain about that :roll:
also, his argument about them taking him out of context was extremely weak, saying they left out that he said most of the prostestors were non-violent, which has nothing to do with him saying polls show most protestors or "loonies". i never knew loony meant violent
and i don't understand the point in having an edited version and an unedited version up, i wonder what Bill would say if the Daily Show did that to his interview?

beck always acts as if he's in total awe. sigh i miss his show on cnn, every friday he'd have someone on like ted nugent, billy ray cyrus, larry king...and then he'd gush all over them and bring up all these coincidences they shared like when he told larry king the only difference between them was their belts
