people there are saying a possible new album and that prolly means new tour. too early to say i wud say.

I expect it. He usually tours every other year (2006, 2008) just released the "Live Anthology" and is supposedly recording a new album. Apparently an email sent to fan club members around Christmas said something along the lines of 'stay tuned because 2010 will be a big year for Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and we have some important announcements soon.'

Only thing is, if he's recording an album it probably won't be out until fall (unless it comes out earlier than expected). Would he really tour this summer, release the album, then tour to support it again?

to early to predict anything is my guess. who knows for sure.

late last year i read he was also interested in doing some more mudcrutch music/shows
