My volcom 7' vinyl?

Hey I bought this with the t-shirt on ebay, but I noticed that EVERY other one i've seen is labled 1 of 2000 and the stickman and words on the back are black and it has a white backround, but mine is CLEARLY 1 of 1000 and the stickman and words are white with a black background. Is there something special about mine? If so i'd be willing to trade it for an awesome poster or something? (lol but also tell me how to do so cus im new to this posting thing and have no idea how you guys do transactions on here) thanks! :D

    Here's what happened. There were only supposed to be 2,000 of these pressed by Volcom. When they originally went on sale, they sold out within a day or 2. After they were shipped out, Volcom decided to press another 1,000 because they were so popular. So the first batch that got mailed out were 1 out of 2,000. The second batch was 1 out of 1,000. So a total of 3,000 exist. You have one of the second pressings. I don't think it is any rarer than the original ones. But good luck to you if you want to trade it. I think they went for $25 originally.

    Isn't the second issue twice as rare as the first?

    well, yes, but i think the point is that one isn't specifically valued more than the other, at least not yet. the bottom line is 3,000 were pressed, and i think most people will look at that number as opposed to the 1 or 2k of the individual pressings.

    Hahahahahahahahahhahaha :lol::lol: very funny, my bad 7". and yes I understand that there is 1000 of them but i've checked on ebay EVERY day since july when I got this and i've never ever seen mine. the ratio should be 2 to 1 but on ebay its like 50 to 0. Must just be ironic.
