  • Well it's no Man In The Mirror, but the vocals at the end are actually surprisingly aggressive.

    peace
*We CAN bomb the World to pieces, but we CAN'T bomb it into PEACE*...Michael Franti

*MUSIC IS the expression of EMOTION.....and that POLITICS IS merely the DECOY of PERCEPTION*

*The scientists of today think deeply instead of clearly. One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite INSANE*....Nikola Tesla(a man who shaped our world of electricity with his futuristic inventions)

HIStory (well, the second disc of "new" material) is grossly underrated in his catalog. Scream, They Don't Care About Us, Stranger In Moscow, Earth Song, Little Susie, Smile... all great tracks, IMO.
  • I miss him so much....

watching This Is It really bothered me.

As insensitive as this may sound, his death stings so much more because of how close he was to being back. If he hadn't announced those shows, I would've thought he was done forever. Any pictures i've even seen of him the last 5 years hes been in a wheelchair

But to see how hard he worked to put that show together, and the fire he still had inside him when he came on stage just to be taken away 2 weeks before his first tour in 12 years is just heartbreaking.

    RIP MJ
under your tongue, im like a tab.. i will give you what your not supposed to have

in wide open spaces we sing, with strings.. launch a full on musical cannonball.. guided by bells that we bring, they ring.. sound for the sky and the sun, our own waterfall...

one with the raging wind, alive on the highest tides, my ship at sail can climb a mountain.. ride it to the sky

what would have happened to him if people would have just let him be......

I watch that video and feel like the guy with the hat and glasses watching Prince sing Purple Rain at the final performance in the movie Purple Rain

    Sad sad sad
  • It's tragic that Michael Jackson has gone forever. Unfortunately he was one of his worst enemies, although it seems he was extremely misguided by people who should have been more caring towards him.

As for this particular song, I hate it because it reminds me of an horrendous relationship I was in at the time. I am slowly, but surely erasing all evidence and reminders of that time from my memory. It's unfortunate that this song is part of that.
It's gonna be a glorious day...

All I think about when I hear this song is Jarvis Cocker crashing his performance. "Stranger in Moscow" is a great song though.

I was never a fan of that song. I much prefer the dancy stuff - Thriller, Beat it, Bad etc. I can do without the preachyness.
