Where is the Banana Bread Recipe

that was in a previous issue of deep. I got all the ingredients now all I need is the directions. I did a search for it on here and came up with nothing! Please Help I'm starving :)

  • I made 2 banana breads the other day with that recipe! I use it all the time. Its taaaasty. Im off to work now so cant help you, hopefully someone will.

  • FROM Deep winter/spring 2006:

    BANANA BREAD - from The Grange Cookbook
    Recipe by: Mildred Lund of Pembroke ME

    1 egg
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3 bananas, mashed fine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt

  • oops more instructions:

    "beat egg in bowl; add sugar and butter. Cream mixture together; add mashed bananas and vanilla. Mix all together. Sift flour, soda and salt; add to banana mixture and stir until well blended. Turn into 6X10 in loaf pan. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees from 45-50 minutes. This recipe never fails"

    Every oven temp can be different. I cook it in mine on 350 for 50 minutes and it comes out perfect. It gets a nice crusty, carmellized top. Sooooooo good. I add some chopped walnuts at the end of the mixing. And sometimes a few white chocolate chips make even more yummy. Enjoy!
