I dunno, I think this is a bit unnecessary. It isn't like he is taking up residence or will be wandering around the neighborhood.

    I suppose I could go into the entire explanation of why this is erroneous and uncalled for but then we'll get into some pointless debate with people who don't care about facts and just believe what they want to believe.

    Even talking about these asshats just gives them some measure of credibility. There are 2 people behind this and it looks as if their main intent is publicity for their organizations. They are best ignored. :silent:

    I think it was actually for a fundraising event that he was doing research for when he accessed the porn site. That event led to Pete trying to start a grassroots anti kid porn movement. If you ever read his blog on his old web site he talked about it several times before he was questioned by police.

    You can still read the essay where he talks about going to the porn site at The Smoking Gun. I think it's called A Different Bomb. He wrote it after a friend who had been sexually abused as a child committed suicide. It was up on his site for almost a year before the police looked into it. It's a long essay but he talks about a lot of things: internet porn, child abuse, drug and alcohol abuse.

    Pete is still writing his autobiography though. No word on when that will be published. ;)

    What Pete did was really dumb but I think the amount he's been vilified for it is extreme.
