Please play Maine!

Haven't had you guys up here since Augusta 1996.....when Dennis rodman came on stage. Cumberland county civic center is Portland holds about 8000 people. Kind of small for pjam, but it would be sick and only two hours north of Boston! Spread the love around new England!

    I feel for you folks in the US who havent had a show in your state in 10+ years. cant imagine that. hope they do a tour soon hitting the small markets.

    Fortunately Boston is close by, so we still have access to regular shows. Always nice to have one is your home state though! :D:D

    Sounds good man. Didn't notice the name change. I'll be coming down to Boston in the spring to chill with Lee, perhaps we can all meet up. Hopefully i will make a few trips if PJam announces tour dates as well!

    Everytime I'm hanging out at Binga's, I look over at the Civic Center and say, "I can only imagine what it would be like if PJ played there" It would be a dream come true.

    As jervin007 said, it's not like we're totally sheltered. Boston is a short drive, but having them play in your true hometown would be tremendous.

    Just seeing this thread in the first page of the porch makes me happy. It also makes me want to go see a Portland SeaDogs game this year.

    i have never visted maine and have always wanted to. mr. dream used to go up every summer with buddies. get to check out the maine coastline ANd see pearl jam. hell yea.....great idea! :thumbup:


    and wow.....is pegmatiteman still around?
    perhaps we'll finally hit you up for some wine, lobster and a place to stay.

    And not to mention Maine may be in the works for a large New England music festival. This is the first year but by the sounds of it they are trying to make it huge. I wouldn't be surprised to see PJ play there in the future if it takes off. Here is a link:

    For those of you that like Seadogs games you need to check out the Red Claws (Celtics farm team), some good basketball being played there.

    I saw that. I might do it anyways this year for the Flaming Lips. That'll be a fun weekend!
