Don't feel too bad though because Rhode Island has only had one PJ show as well.

I was a freshman at UVM when they played there in 1991. Didn't make the show unfortunately. Hard to believe they played at Memorial Auditorium, which is basically a high school auditorium.
Please come back to Burlington PJ!! We sacrifice and drive 100s of miles to see you, so sacrifice once and play a small venue in B-town.
No Pearl Jam don't ever play Burlington. You will just be annoyed at all the wanna-be-hippies hangin out driving daddy's BMW. God I can't stand hippies
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V
I dont think Pearl Jam has played New Hampshire... But I guess i cant blame them.
Never played New Hampshire, and haven't played Maine since the Augusta 96 show.

Augusta Maine 96 show was amazing...PJ played softball on the lawn in back of the Civic Center before most people even began to arrive.. The Fastbacks opened... Dennis Rodman threw Eddie on his shoulders during alive... The show was all people from central Maine talked about for weeks, obviously we never get any concerts up here...
I think PJ should play every state in New England but Mass... lets face it Massachusetts has had plenty of shows. Plus when you play in a state like Maine or Vermont I typically think the atmosphere of the shows would be much better than a place like Boston(I've seen them 10 time there) because people would appreciate it more because its a rarity to see any good concert in Maine or Vermont not to mention the greatest band in the world!!!

I would agree with that. I have seen them in Mass I dont know how many times. A NH, VT or Maine Show would be one for the ages especially if it was on a college campus Like UNH.

Are you serious? Eddie is a hippie with millions of dollars.
I grew up in Montpelier, went to college at Champlain and my parents now live on a lake in Glover....God it would be so sick to see PJ in Burlington. I dont think they could deal with amount of fans though...
i go to UVM and would love a burlington show...would settle for montreal too though!
Sorry I'm a stupid Bostonian for even asking this, but is it easier for you guys to do Montreal than Boston? Which do you prefer to do?

i'm a longislander and really have no place posting here, but in regards to whether boston or montreal would be easier...i guess it depends on whether crossing the boarder is a big hassle or not. i've never driven to canada, but i heard if you say that you're just going in for the day or whatever, they just let you in...i could be wrong...

montreal is alot closer than boston...ive never seen a show in montreal it would definately be fun but when im not at school i live near boston so it would be perfect if they played montreal when im at school and boston during the summer...but that will never happen

I think that Pearl Jam should play on a floating raft down the Connecticut River. Then they could effectively play for New Hampshire, Vermont, and Connecticut (which is close enough to RI).

I saw Ben Harper and Jack Johnson perform in Burlington a few years ago. Vedder in the mix would have made that show dynomite. It was an excellent show anyways. I just wanted to use 'dynomite' in a sentance.
i grew up in vt and also i went to school and lived in b-town from 95-2002 and i must say that burlington is one of the coolest towns i've been to. i love going to boston and i love going to nyc to hang with friends and have had lots of fun in many other places along the way, but none of them top b-town. over the years i've seen some great shows in places like higher ground and good old memorial auditorium. when the dead played in high gate, there was probably 100,000 people there. pj could put on a spectacular show at an outside venue somewhere in vt...that would be insane. anyone go to lolla '96?
