What a cool kid! That was fun to watch for sure. :) He beat me on several songs!
"I'd rather be with an animal." "Those that can be trusted can change their mind." "The in between is mine." "If I don't lose control, explore and not explode, a preternatural other plane with the power to maintain." "Yeh this is living." "Life is what you make it."

  • God bless your kid. I hope PJ sees these videos so they could do some kind of acoustic concert for him in your house. :) All kidding aside.

lmao at the first Name that Tune video...I think my favorite part was how he was so good yet some songs that have unmistakable intros (Black and Jeremy) seemed to throw him for a loop. I guess that could happen if you learn all of their songs at once rather than having heard the hits many times lol.

I would agree, he's now into Metallica which is almost as good, but not quite. He is starting to play Nothing Else Matters on Piano

Too funny that you happened to update this thread now... there's a 24 page thread that started with another fan bringing his 3 yr old to the Buffalo show and asking for advice, that led to 24 pages of how awful and crazy an idea that was. Among the many reasons people said it was inappropriate and unacceptable was the fact that, as many pointed out, "3 yr olds don't like PJ" or "the kid isn't there because they like PJ music, they're only there because the parent likes PJ".

You yourself msilva may feel it's a bad idea to take a 3 yr old to a show, but what your adorable little one (who is 5 or 6 now?) shows is that a 3 yr old CAN INDEED actually love PJ, know PJ, get all into PJ!

Of course he wouldn't know about it at that age if you hadn't introduced him to it (and possibly inundated him with PJ ;) ), but exposing him to it does NOT mean he will like it, and definitely doesn't mean he'll get so into it he can play name that tune. Much as my 3 yr old loves some of my music, she's pretty clear that there is some music me or my husband likes that she does NOT like (5 yr old is even more opinionated).

But the idea that 3 yrs old is too young to actually have a preference or be really into PJ is ridiculous, and your son proves it. :D

p.s. Was he really on Regis?? Is that part of the link on the 1st page of this thread? I didn't get to open it yet...
