    wow. could you imagine being at a chris cornell show and watching it with slash?
    Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
    Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
    Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

  • I was lucky enough to catch the show... and it was AMAZING. He sounded friggin' fantastic. His voice is stunning, even more so when it's just him and a guitar. He played a good mix of stuff, Soundgarden, Audioslave, solo stuff, Neil Young, 3 Beatles tracks. Sounded so good. Didn't say anything about Soundgarden tour, but was in a good mood, had good crowd interaction and there was a great vibe to the night. Excellent show. Got a setlist! (-;

    And yeah, it was pretty VIP heavy. In addition to Slash...Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Charlize Theron, Dave Mathews, Nestor Carbonell, and a bunch of Hollywood types were there. Who knew Tom Hanks was a Cornell fan??? :o

    Holy shit, his cover of "Ticket to Ride" is mesmerizing.

    Also, I've never seen videos of him where he's interacting with the crowd so much!

    Chris explains in the very first video! Basically he was gonna have a list of about 50 songs and people could ring the phone and whoever got through could choose a song from the list. They didn't have a phone line in the room though!
  • Cornell's voice was amazing, spot on, and the setlist was beautiful... loved the whole show. Extra sweet that so many PJ fans were in attendence at such a tiny club :D
