This is hands down one of the BEST venues to see them at.
1) The sound there is great!
2) 2 bars, cheap enough drinks, no waiting.
3) There's never an opening band there, so they play nice long sets & like to experiment.
4) The crowd is local & mixed, but everyone gets into it & has a good time, no assholes.
I'm not sure about hotels, however... we usually crash at a nearby friend's place.
Ill be there March 6th, as well as April 10th. I was just kidding about seeing Ted Leo instead. Although I will say this, for all the shit they got in 08 as the opening act at Great Woods, these guys f'n rock. I love listening to Shake the Sheets while running.
And I have to admit something. I have never seen a Pearl Jam tribute band.

I don't know where any of this is gonna lead, but I'm in the process of contacting 98.5 the sports hub to see if they could donate some tickets or memorabilia for the raffle. The producer of Felger and Mazz (B-Real) is a huge PJ fan, so hopefully that may get us an in.
