Am I in the twilight zone? Pitchfork is being nice to Pearl Jam? Is the world coming to an end?

"... It's a bit of a bummer that MOR singer Boh Runga gets Knox's beloved "Not Given Lightly", especially considering Pearl Jam covered it well on tour in New Zealand last November and could have provided this comp yet another ringer..."

Maybe there's a mole inside Pitchfork now.

I like Pitchfork, it makes me feel good about myself, realising I'm not one of them.
My friends had their album come out on Vagrant the day Michael Jackson died. Pitchfork gave their last album somewhere in the 7.3 range... this album only got a 5.5 and a review that had nothing to do about their album. The entire thing was about other bands that used to sound like my friends band.
