10C Backspacer Downloads...

I've not been around too much over the past month(s). What happened to the Digital downloads that we were getting from the vault after spending the cash on the 10C copy of Backspacer? I've got nothing, have I missed something?

    At this point, I think we won't get any download from the 10C edition of BS :cry:

    I agree. 4 months later - I think they're expecting us to just forget about it. Lesson: buy CD's somewhere else!

    just go to target and pick up Backspacer .
    pop it in your computer and choose two shows from a limited number of boots.....chances are a 10c member already has a handful of the available ones.

    Not to mention, there were no cover songs included on any of the download boots. You might as well head to the download thread. I think most of them are there.

    yes i forgot to mention that. good point. i didnt really mind the lack of covers when i d/l my two shows. (MSG08, Grand Rapids08) I can live without Mike singing Black Diamond :lol:

    Why would I pay another $15 when the $15 I already spent was promised to have different, better downloads from this supposed vault that was referenced way back in a 2005 newsletter as coming soon? It would have been so easy to just steal the album from a torrent but I decided to give them my money....one of the few bands I will still actually purchase on cd. Last time for that. I have never seen a business make more empty promises.

    Ok, I'm a little lost in here... what's with this download thing? Is it only available through 10C if I buy the Backspacer disc?? How does it work??

    I agree that at this point it is unlikely that we'll see any of these downloads.

    I just don't understand why Ten Club announces such things (Backspacer downloads, "big, bold, and free," etc.) before they are 100% confirmed. It just leads to unnecessary anger and confusion.

    The dl's are only available with the purchase of the album from Target, at this point in time. 10c said to stay tuned for news of the dl's from 10c purchases. Well, we are still waiting and still no news. We are sure to get the holiday single first at this rate. Maybe, and I mean just maybe we will get Philly boots news before that as well. :D
