The First Date

That my wife and I went on was really cool - mainly because it was not a date - we were just hanging out and realized that everyone else had left because we were just too into each other.

DMB is okay - but yes Pearl Jam should announce all of their dates at once

    I had an awesome first date last night....he doesn't like PJ but there's lots of other stuff we already found out we have in common

    I've been single for quite awhile now and not really on a mission to meet anyone...I just happened to meet him while out running...turns out I really like him so here's hoping things go well

    I haven't had a good first date since 2006. I can't even begin to describe some of the first dates I have been on over the course of the past year! It's always so disappointing when you get spruced up and go through the effort of the make up and sexy underwear and then you meet your date and he's outwardly severely depressed or clearly a 30 year-old gay man who hasn't come out yet...

    Ummm...my girlfriend and mine's first date was an Incubus concert that I got too drunk at and then proceeded to be the cause of her missing the show. I then vomited all over a Holiday Inn elevator. :oops:

    To this day, we're more in love than we were when she was helping me from drowning in the toilet....naturally.

    You could say I'm quite the ice-breaker. 8-)

    Our first date, the weekend after meeting at our 5 year high school class reunion in '79, was to Mama Mia's pizza restaurant in Milwaukee. After 2 bottles of Mateus in the darkly lit, romantic italian restaurant we made love in the front seat of his station wagon in the restaurant parking lot! You could say we were very hot for each other right from the start. I guess now we see it was meant to be a lifetime together

    Our first date we went out for dinner and then decided it was a good idea to drive to the states for some reason, and then we took a weird turn and went to some WEIRD farm town where there was some crazy church with a really creepy cult like name.... then we got bored of the US and drove back to a beach and hung out.

    I know it sounds weird but actually it was pretty good.

    :lol: Our first date happened actually quite late into the relationship. :P

    I got to talking to my boyfriend through a mutual friend on the interwebs and.. Well, long story short, we thought we'd be seeing each other for the first time this June but then he managed to travel here last month. :D

    So, we went on our first proper date on St. Patrick's day. :) Both got a little bit dolled up and we spent the day wandering about town, visited the aquarium, walked on the sea (winter time, very icy :D ) and had a lovely dinner in a restaurant I like very much. One of the coolest things was that the restaurant played a Pearl Jam song, which I'd never heard them do before! (And I go there somewhat often, as it's also a bar we mainly go to.) 8-)

    Not too fancy a day but I loved every single moment of it. :)
