Just noticed that Into the Wild has worldwide sales of 1.2 million. Thats pretty impressive.
Pearl Jam stands at 1.8 million and Backspacer continues its climb towards a million with 931000.
when i'm on the bus or car chillin with my big headphones. i always play end of the road. just a great partial instrumental song.
That is a great song. I especially love the instrumentals that EV does. Is it true he plays almost all of the instruments on the album?
Yep. That's the greatness of Ed.

Into the Wild was a very impressive first solo album- lots of people I think who didn't know much of PJ and EV were shocked by the "troubadour folky" sound and he made new fans.
Just noticed that Into the Wild has worldwide sales of 1.2 million.
Anyone have a spare copy on vinyl?
And yes I'm kidding and do know the prices for sealed ones...
This is THE ultimate album to listen to via turntable...(and not to keep sealed in the bookself...)

I would have liked it if End of the Road would have been played live by Ed but I don’t think he ever did. That’s the song I wanted the most when I saw him first in Berkeley in 2008

Love the record. Story is heartbreaking. I haven’t watched the movie since the theater premiere. That ending is one of the saddest, maybe the saddest in my movie watching history.
Very sad indeed. The Telluride boot is of interest for anyone who followed the story.
