I don't understand it!

All my friends are in love with Kesha and that horrid song.
It is the number 1 Billboard single right now.

What's wrong with everybody????

    I weep for my generation, as I am in high school, and I guess this is what teenagers listen to.

    So many people in my school like this song.
    Not to mention my 13 year old sister, who will randomly break out in this song.

    Probably one of the worst songs ever written. I can't stand her voice either-- if you can even call it a voice!
    Too bad so many people my age listen to crap like this.

    It's pop...no use getting worked up over it. Many people don't want art, they just want to sing along to a catchy tune. Too much great stuff out there to worry about others' tastes.

    Thing is, though, I don't feel like it's that catchy. I hear the hooks in some GaGa songs and other poppy tunes, (although I do dislike them), but I just feel like Tik Tok is a complete mess of electronic beats, bad singing, bad lyrics, and bad fills.

    On a related note, I have more respect for the avalanche of people who dropped their $0.99 on this versus an entitled twat with a convoluted explanation as to why they just stole an Arcade Fire album off Limewire.
