JOIN ALL POSTER FREAKS TO HELP EMEK WITH POSTER DONATION FOR HAITI

It's a great cause and in return you get a great Emek poster.

here is all details from him:

Haiti Relief poster

I have created a special poster to help the people of Haiti
It is an 18" x 24" silkscreen and it will be signed and numbered.

The edition size will be determined by the number of orders placed.
*you may order as many as you would like. (only need to pay shipping once if going to the same address)
The sale will be open for 1 week, STARTING now January 23rd and ENDING next Friday night January 29th.
so everyone will have enough time to place an order either by mail or through paypal and not get shut out by everyone going to the site at the same time
once we have a total number ordered, we will have the posters printed -
D&L ScreenPrinting have graciously offered to donate part of their services to help make this happen.
The silkscreen posters will be Signed and Numbered by me.
(the larger the edition the longer it may take to get them out to you so...)
Please expect about 3-6 weeks for delivery



How to purchase/donate

Since we are not a registered non-profit organization we do not quality for a "donation" button through paypal in order to avoid them taking transaction fees
therefore we need you to send the money 1 of 2 ways:

1) sign in to Paypal.com
click the second tab 'SEND MONEY'
fill on the form, TO: <!-- e --><a href="mailto:ronni@emek.net">ronni@emek.net</a><!-- e -->
Amount: poster is $50 + shipping and handling $15 in US, $18 outside the US
IMPORTANT: *click the 'PERSONAL' tab and choose 'GIFT'
then click continue
*scroll down to the bottom of the page -
Subject: HAITI RELIEF POSTER
Message: **write in YOUR Name and Shipping Address
This part is very important because your paperwork will not include your address since its being sent as a gift
If you do not send it as a gift paypal will take 3%, and we'd prefer that money goes to those suffering in Haiti.
OR

2) mail a check or money order for $50 + shipping and handling $15 in US, $18 outside the US
include a self addressed sticker or index card (so we know where to send your poster)

we will post copies of the processed checks written out to the organizations
and their receipt to us so you can be sure your money went to where we promised!

p.s. I contacted numerous Relief agencies to donate my posters and let them sell directly, they all said it was better if we handle all the sales and shipping ourselves and just donate the money, so that is what i am doing-

    I agree 1000% with the above. Over the last year or so I've really come to appreciate EMEK (I know late to the party for the hard core poster freaks) but this is a great cause and in my eyes a great poster. PJ should use him again!

    This is pretty sweet what EMEK and D&L ScreenPrinting are doing. 68 bucks Canadian get's you a kick ass poster, signed & numbered by EMEK. No limit on how many poster's you buy (deadline is a week, ends Jan 29th). All money donated going to Haiti.

    Have not heard anything yet. He did post on his site that the first batch of checks went out. $24,000.00 :thumbup:

    HAITI update

    hi demetrios

    Thank you to all those who participated in our Haiti fundraiser!The edition size will be 600, a little more than was ordered incase there are any late comers and to make it a nice round number :)

    since the edition is so large it is taking a bit longer to get them all printed, signed and numbered...
    as soon as they are shipped we will send out another email through our mailing list so you can know when to expect them. Remember that since we have to do all the shipping labels by hand you will not receive an email confirmation that it has shipped.

    We have sent the profits to the 3 organizations: Doctors without Borders, Mercy Corps, and Partners in health. The checks have all been received and cashed...you can see copies of the checks on our website at this link http://www.emek.net/posters/h/haiti_details.html
