Me and my friend are going to the Muse concert at the Seattle Key Arena in April.
Okay, problem is tickets sold out in two seconds, he got floor i could only get a shitty seat.
Obviously we want to be together during the show but I am worried about getting caught trying to sneak in and getting kicked out.

Any advice, tips? I am thinking of just buying a GA ticket on Craigslist but they are all scalper prices and I already paid 45 bucks for my crappy seat, and I was gonna save my money for pearl jam poster/tix.

Thanks for your help, its greatly appreciated!

Key Arena is notorious for have Power-Trip security, so you'll definitely get kicked out if you get caught.

At the pj 2002 show I went to the bathroom and left my ticketstub in my coat that was lying on my seat, and the usher at the section entrance refused to let me in even after I explained to him where my ticket stub was and the exact seat that I was sitting in and that I had 4 people who could vouch for me once I got to my seat.

I made him call his higher-up on walkee talkee and had to re-explain the situation to him before they finally let me in....and this was for section 1XX, not even floor seats.

If there's a lot of moshing you can probably sneak into GA, but if the crowd is tame, security's main priority will be to make sure no one sneaks in.

Hm yeah I belive you because at the sept PJ show the security was freakin on me for standing in the aisle.

Okay I guess ill just buy a GA ticket then, hopefully I can find someone willing to sell theirs for face value.

well... there's another way. it would probably very easily work, and since it's GA, it wouldn't really hurt too much (as opposed to a seated floor).

Find someone with a print-at-home ticket for the floor. Have them print you a copy. Do NOT use that ticket to enter the door... use YOUR ticket at the door. But once you are inside, the show the ushers your GA floor ticket.

    voila.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

Seriously though, that's a stellar idea...probably going to use that in the future.

Oh, of course. How rude of me though, I should've asked your permission to use such a plan.

Another trick I did once at Key Arena - for GA floors only - is find someone cool that would be willing to let you borrow their ticket for 10 mins or so. Walk up to where your reserved seat is and use the extra floor seat. Go back down to the floor, but don't go to the same usher/section. Then make your way back to the person you borrowed from and give them back their ticket. I would also suggest that you keep checking with ticketmaster in the time leading up to the show, or even the box office on the night of, as the Key almost always releases more tickets without announcing. Plus, there is always extra room on the Arena floor. Good luck and enjoy SP too, they are pretty decent live..and actually, that was the show I did this trick with when they opened for Snow Patrol at the Key. :)
