I postponed my dogs funeral for THIS?

Hi

My family is a big lover of dogs. We've had a few over the years. Until recentelly, we had a lovely dog called Rex. Unforunately, he died last week - it was devestating, he was like a part of the family. We were going to have a funeral yesterday but I said "No, I have an important business meeting" (i.e. Pearl Jam news, but I didn't tell my family that). The fact that I would prioritise potential Pearl Jam tickets ahead of my beloved dogs funeral shows how much I take this band seriously.

Anyway, Wednesday comes and goes - and we get a delay. So I have to postpone the dogs funeral again - "I've got another important business meeting on Thursday." My family were crying their eyes about but Vedder and the boys come first.

And now I get the announcement...tour dates. In the USA? What the hell? What about Luxembourg, Pearl Jam? Are you too good to tour here? I've put my family through hell, and the dogs corpse is stinking the fucking house out, just so I could see a Pearl Jam concert in Luxembourg. And you fuck me over for some dates in Bush-land!

I'm going to bury my dog tomorrow...but I'm also going to bury my 10C membership as well.

Sweet! ...that means I just moved up one notch in the seniority department!

Seriously, I hope you're just joking with this post as it is clearly only YOUR fault for delaying a family matter to wait for news that you could of easily gotten once you took care of your responsibilities.

Did ya really think they were gonna announce a Luxembourg date? LOL. I don't know which move is more stupid...waiting two days to bury your dog to hit refresh all day long, or thinking that PJ was going to be playing in your hometown.

    Peace,

    RM

Not only what they said about the dogs coming first... but you were expecting a show in Luxembourg, and that's what you're disappointed about? I wouldn't say a trip to Europe is exactly easy, nor economical, nor going to please the majority of their fans.

I guess I'm pissed they're not playing my house party.

Couldn't you have checked the news some other time? It's not like they were going to post it then five minutes later delete it.
  • I hear "spoiled dog" is a luxury in Luxembourg.
Why don't you just cook it up right and meal down?

    Sheeh.

When life hands you dead dog,
    just cook it up!

    :D
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

Do you know how small Luxembourg is? Tickets would have sold out in a flash. I needed to be here.

Not a good enough excuse. I don't think they would be all like tickets are on sale now.

  • Wow, what bad luck you've had lately! I mean, yesterday you had to postpone your wedding when the tweet was delayed... and apparently you had to postpone your dogs funeral too! Is there something else that you forgot to mention you postponed? Like, maybe your therapy appointment???
