ok the Big Bang Theory thread got me thinking to start this thread. Anyone big into Modern Family? It is wednesday nights at 9:00 - Is this not the funniest show on tv right now? Ed O'Neil is great once again and the guy who plays his son-in-law is hilarious. Pretty much everyone on the show is good, even the kids are funny. check it out if you get a chance.

Wonderfully twisted show! I love it. Ed O'neills chubby stepson is pretty funny and the son in law (dad) is hilarious!! WTF=WHY THE FACE? ha

I'm never as good as when you're there.........
  • Definitely the best new comedy to come along in quite some time. I also like Phil the best and can totally see myself being like that when my son gets older.

The episode with Edward Norton playing the guy from Spandau Ballet was pure gold.

so many good ones so far. The Spandau Ballet one, the one where Ed O'Neil flies the Model Airplane into Phil's face, the daughter wanted to go away to the concert and the boyfriend singing the song about doing her, last weeks with the dog butler. I could go on and on - love this show.

I saw one episode and wasn't all that impressed. (The gay couple banged the baby's head and took it to the doctor/Ed O'Neil didn't want his kid going to school with the poncho on).

It was essentially a family oriented verion of The Office (the same faux documentary style cut ins) ... with one of the guys even acting pretty much like Michael Scott (Steve Carrell).

Granted, Edward Norton playing the guy from Spandau Ballet sounds like something I need to watch.

This show is pretty funny. Nice to see Ed O'Neil back and being hysterical! but the son-in-law is the best - he is a downright riot!

I think you saw the worst of the episodes so far. I find this show way funnier than The Office.

haha. it has something that anyone could relate to. phil is definitely my favorite. anyone ever see the episode where phil is really attracted to the blonde-bombshell of a neighbor? it's definitely worth checking out. hilarious.

Two smokin' hot moms. Two hilarious gay guys. And Ed O'Neil. Great show.

Phil is by far my favorite character.
He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.

My expectations are that the jokes are not going to be predictable ... I find this immensely predictable.

Perhaps, I've just seen it all ... I'm just too old. HEY .... YOU KIDS ... GET OFF MY LAWN!!!! :x
