  • Ed said they were about half way through "their career"
    so 20 years 9 albums
that would only get us 20 albums tops if they have a 40 year career and of course the numbers drop significantly as each age number increases

what are they gonna write about when they are 55??
Kinda weird, kinda sad, kinda interesting to ponder..

    good post

KISS has like 30+ studio releases and they have been around since what 71 or so??

Both D's are my heroes!!! :D I say between 20 and 25 since there has to be the inevitable Philly shows and other compilations over the years.

That's right but almost half of the 30 studio releases are a "Greatest Hits Compilation" with the same songs.

learn to make a thread title.
  • I agree, a more descriptive thread title would be good.

Anyways - I'm hoping for/expecting 5 or 6 more full-fledged original studio albums, for a total of about 15. Additionally, we will see lots of compilations, b-sides collections, boxed sets, vinyl reissues (!), bootleg blu-rays (or 3-D thingies, or whatever video medium we move to), etc.

Even if they have 20 years left, they've slowed down to an album every 3 or 4 years at this point, so 5 or 6 more is about all I could hope for. That's ok though - we'd be looking at a library of about 250 songs when all is said and done. Led Zep only ever had about 80 - so not too shabby!

I think we will maybe get another 6 or 7 albums. When they are old they will probably be singing about winter fuel allowance and free eye test. Oh and the flu jab

  • Sorry thread was short because I needed a pee. You know when you are crossing your legs together and hoppiing up and down with your ass on the chair- type of situation. Ok, first off, Larry David is my hero too. There said it. Next, when I mean records I'm not talking about greatest hits, comps or bootlegs. Just physical studio records. By the way I LOVE YOU ALL.
