I'm not big into shoes, but I know of nike's and other shoes that can go for $400. I think for someone who is a serious shoe collector, and one who is pretty big into pearl jam, this is a pretty reasonable price.

Well, i certainly wouldn't/couldn't pay for these bad ass shoes...nor would I, if I was rich....But! This guy good, yes? Thailand or not! I'm impressed!
