Where's the left coast love? I saw them twice in Mansfield, but was looking forward to a nice vacation in the Northwest. Who's with me?

Mike already said that the 08 tour was built around Bonnaroo. If they didn't play Roo, we probably wouldn't had any shows in 08.

    They'll play all over in 09 :)

  • the west gets all the love....we didnt get any ed solo donw here in the south

heres to the 2009 tour! may it be long and blessed with beautiful posters and a decent opening band (KOL ruled)
I shit and I stink, I'm real, join the club...
  • Why don't they just go out every summer and tour anyway. We dont care if they have a new album to promote. All the magazines say the money is in touring now anyways.

TOUR EVERY SUMMER PLEASE. WE WOULD APPRECIATE IT.
Let's see those 2013 dates in the southern states.

Our only chance was for them to play Bridge and then build a west coast tour around that. When they weren't announced on the bill it was all over for us in the west.

They should really take a page out of Dave Matthews Band's book, because they tour every summer, and they haven't had a new album since 2005. I guarantee you that every diehard fan would show up every year. If nothing else, they would make tons of money.

I can't believe I live in Seattle and have only seen them once. :(

I was watching the Showbox video the other day and Ed talks about the guy coming from Chile and how they are just going to play Seattle and we can come there. Wasn't that the last time they played Seattle?

Problem with that is Pearl Jam has released an album more recently than DMB. What I like is a nice balance between studio work and touring.

I couldn't make 08 Bonnaroo. No midwest dates....not even 1 Chicago stop! I think the general consensus here is to do the tours every summer. We will ALL go. I am sure PJ knows this
