    Eddie, without a doubt.

The man harnesses much more songwriting capabilities and artistic visions than Cobain ever could've. Sorry, but I just have always thought that Kurt got a little more hyped up than he was entitled too. Luckily for him, he just fronted a new era and generation of music...but Vedder is the real gem in this one...

eddie hands down. cobain would just whine about something. i'm sure courtney love would try to interfere; maybe try to throw kurt a chair or something.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

I haven't listened to enough Nirvana to make a fair judgement. For some reason I just never listened to them. I do think its a hard comparision to make regardless of how familar you are with their work. Lets be honest, Ed's has a much larger body of work than Kurt did and he's had many more years to prove himself.

I've always thought PJ's music was more influential and important than Nirvana's. So I'll have to go with Eddie.

    yes.

this matchup is dumb. it's like saying who's better, jimi hendrix or neil young? i aways wonder what would've happened if someone had died young, or lived longer.

if EV had died at 27 like KC did, we'd have ten and ten only. does anyone think ten alone surpasses the entire nirvana catalog? i don't...
