  • Very very talented group. Known of them for a while but I'm not sure if they are worthy yet to open for our boys though. Maybe for the 2012 tour.

That would be immense, I've just seen they're playing in London, might have to negotiate a change in my day off so I can go and see them!

  • Rhino, thanks for turning me on to this band. It's right up my alley. Would LOVE if they opened for PJ. Would get me out of the parking lot early for sure, and IMO PJ needs to get more fresh blood in the opening slots (not that I didn't enjoy SD and BR this year)

Also saw them at Roo, then a couple of months ago in a small venue. They put on an amazing show and got to meet them afterwards. Despite his divine axe skills Davy seems very humble and respectful. Would love to see them open for PJ!

My uncle is the tour manager, so I've seen them on several occasions. Great musicians, and really great guys! The first time I met them, someone built Davy a guitar to try.. He knew I played, so he said 'Chris, you try it'.. So I was playing it, he picked up his resonator, and we were jamming! Jamming with one of my favourite guitarists, something I'll never forget!
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

i would LOVE to see davy knowles open for pj. i saw his solo tour this year in a small venue, maybe 100 people and talked with him after the show. he is the nicest guy! plus, he is 1000 % better LIVE than on the cd's.
