"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
With some of these religious people, like him, you gotta wonder, if its all really about money to them. This goes for Bush, Obama and anyone else who is wealthy and is a known relgious person. What do they think of Jesus's statements in the bible about money, and how a rich person cant get in to heaven, and how helping the homeless is a noble pursuit. How the bible suggests giving all your possessions away.
makes me think of that Bono line from Rattle and Hum: "The god I believe in, isnt short on cash, mister"
I'm also not saying what someone should believe in but if you don't believe in some type of afterlife why do you worry so much about those that do? Seriously focus you energy on things that really matter. Stop trying to push your beliefs on others.

lol... me too. How he still has enough followers to have his TV show (network) boggles my mind. The average age of his viewers must be 75+.

The 'Devil' writes Pat Robertson a letter

By Frank James - NPR
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune published a letter from Satan to evangelist Pat Robertson, responding to his comment that Haiti's persistent troubles, including the earthquake, are due to a pact the nation made with Mephistopheles.
Actually, it wasn't Satan who wrote the letter but Lilly Coyle of Minneapolis writing in the persona of the hellish one.
I think she got it down pretty well. What say you?
Dear Pat Robertson,
I know that you know that all press is good press, so I appreciate the shout-out. And you make God look like a big mean bully who kicks people when they are down, so I'm all over that action.
But when you say that Haiti has made a pact with me, it is totally humiliating. I may be evil incarnate, but I'm no welcher. The way you put it, making a deal with me leaves folks desperate and impoverished.
Sure, in the afterlife, but when I strike bargains with people, they first get something here on earth -- glamour, beauty, talent, wealth, fame, glory, a golden fiddle. Those Haitians have nothing, and I mean nothing. And that was before the earthquake. Haven't you seen "Crossroads"? Or "Damn Yankees"?
If I had a thing going with Haiti, there'd be lots of banks, skyscrapers, SUVs, exclusive night clubs, Botox -- that kind of thing. An 80 percent poverty rate is so not my style. Nothing against it -- I'm just saying: Not how I roll.
You're doing great work, Pat, and I don't want to clip your wings -- just, come on, you're making me look bad. And not the good kind of bad. Keep blaming God. That's working. But leave me out of it, please. Or we may need to renegotiate your own contract.
Best, Satan

I know.... i wish they would fix that bug. :problem:
This is true about many "Christians" unfortunately. This man is ridiculous. Even if there was absolute undeniable proof that some how the people of Haiti had made this so called pact with Satan, anyone who is a true follower of Christ would know He would be the first one asking us to go there and help those people. You spread His word through your actions, not your preaching. You spread His word by showing unconditional love, kindness and mercy, even to those who speak openly against Him. I believe you should be able to show people the love of Jesus Christ without saying a word. This man is so far off the mark I'm actually embarrassed for him.
