"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
Dissident: I've never disliked Dissident, but it wasn't until I heard it live that I fell in love.
You Are: I'm still not necessarily the biggest fan of this song, but live, it's freakin' fantastic!
Nothing as it Seems: Despite giving Binaural a few tries, I just wasn't feeling it and it remained on my shelf. It wasn't until I heard the songs live during the Binaural tour that I gained an appreciation for the album, and in particular, NAIS. Now, I love the album (overall).
Why Go was one of my least favorite songs on Ten until I saw them play it in 1995 and it was one of the highlights of the show. Great song.
But I think lots of their songs are waaaaaay better live than on the studio records. I have many friends who didn't like PJ much from their albums, until seeing them live opened their eyes to what a powerful band they are.

I am probably going to be shot for saying this but: INSIDE JOB.
A lot of people didn't/don't like inside job. I don't get it. I've loved it since my first listen.
1/2 Full is probably BETTER live, but I've always liked it as well.
and, yeah, Arc on the solo tour was shiver inducing!

Glorfied G - Didn't really care for it until they started to bring it back in 03. Now I really like to hear it. Not one of my favorites, but definitely appreciate it.
Dissident was a song I really loved, then kind of stopped. But, a few years ago, Eddie started to sing it a little differently, which adds something to it.
Can't Keep - I never thought much of it and then when they opened in Hartford with it last year, I was just blown away, gave me a new respect for it, and got me listening to Riot Act again which I never listened to before.
"Change don't come at once, it's a wave, building before it breaks"
Only been to one show, and 2 of them there made me appreciate those songs so much more:
All Night - still don't like album version, but love the back and forth "Got all night!"'s between Eddie and the others when done live
Spin the Black Circle - didn't like much of Vitalogy until I saw this one. It kicked my ass and was the highlight for me (not my fave that they played, but loved it the most that night). I now pretty much love all of that album.
I've always thought it was okay but when I first witnessed it live I was like "holy shit...that fucking ROCKS!"
"I get into a state of consciousness that I can't explain. It is about feeling and not thinking. I get positive chills and insight into things that I can't get to any other way. It is Healing of the Soul." - Mike McCready
Wishlist - I had never loved that one but in Vienna it was fuckin marvellous and love it ever since!!!
Big Wave - a strong rocking live gem, cca. 7.5 times better than the album version!

Also, got to like Rival from a bootleg, then heard it at Spectrum 1 and loved it.
Got to like MFC from the bootleg as well.

Present Tense.
The studio version does nothing for me (and still doesn't). But man does this song rock me out live.
(OK .. everyone can stop laughing and pointing now ....)
all the songs they played during the acoustic set of "the experiment" at Mansfield '03

and
Big Wave
both with extendeds jams / solos, much better than the album versions.
Best. Night. Ever.
Why Go
Songs I think are much better live:
Lukin
Green Disease (possibly my least favorite PJ song, but I have to say it rocked at Philly 1)
Bugs
Song I never disliked, but was blown away by live:
Immortality -- again, at Philly 1. As much as everyone talks about Philly 3 and Philly 4, this song was the standout performance for me
What?!?!?!?!?
Dissident was a song I really loved, then kind of stopped. But, a few years ago, Eddie started to sing it a little differently, which adds something to it.
WMA- the reworked version from 2008 was awesome, the studio bores me at times
1/2 Full is a ton better live
Unthought Known is an amazing song, and brought to an even more extraordinary level live.
call me sheep, but i like all pj's songs. yup
Garden - love the album version but live is amazing
Grievance - great, great song that sounds like shit on the album. 150 x better live! This is pure rock n' roll.
No Way - again the album version is good, but live this song was fucking amazing
Push Me, Pull Me - same reasoning as "No Way"

All Night - still don't like album version, but love the back and forth "Got all night!"'s between Eddie and the others when done live
