I will match the first 10 donations up to $50 each.

    FYI... Apparently you can donate $10 to the Red Cross for relief in Haiti by texting the word "HAITI" to 90999. The $10 will be added to your cell phone bill. Brilliant!

    this is a great idea. i am just going to the red cross on my way to work tomorrow to donate. you don't have to match my contribution though. what a great gesture. good on you JOEJOEJOE...its much more positive here than in the other haiti thread... :(

    Even though I don't text I just removed my texting feature on my Iphone I did donate $25 via a text on my sister's phone. Yes I feel a bit better now I hope we all can do our share. They need help badly.

    For the UK. Not as easy as a simple text but that shouldn't stop anyone. Done my bit. My daughter is charity rep for her year group at school. They are making badges and will be selling them at their school and a couple of others to raise a bit of money. Everyone can help in many different ways.
