Gunman guitar riff-TCV

Does anyone listen to Gunman by TCV and think to themselves, "this guitar riff sounds oddly familiar?" Could it be from the newest Audioslave disc Revelations? I never picked up that disc but something about the riff drives me crazy thinking about what it reminds me of. Thanks for any help.

    It sounds like a riff that Jimmy Page could have played, I just always hear Zeppelin when I listen to TCV though.

    it's not audioslave.

    it is very funkadelic though. and grohl's drumming reminds me of one of those little wind up drumming monkey toys, and he's been wound up just a little too much.

    great riff though. one of my favorites off the album.
