Hyde Park Support? your thoughts.....

Don't know if this has been mentioned in the euro tour thread, but does anybody know when the full line up is likely to be released.

here's a list of bands i would like to see and who i think we will see.

would like... in no particular order
1.Matchbox 20
2.Alice in Chains
3.Gaslight Anthem (even though they played with uncle bruce here last year would love them to come back)
4.Biffy Clyro

bands we probably will see..
1.Feeder
2.kaiser Chiefs
3.Creed (just to confuse us)
4.Stereophonics

i would like to see other peoples thoughts on this please, thanx in advance.

    Can't see many of the above mentioned bands being on the bill, possible Alice In Chains and or Soundgarden or am I dreaming?! Powderfinger would be great but again can't see it. How Ben Harper & Relentless 7? Well I guess we'll have to wait and see...

    Powderfinger played O2 Wireless festival at Hyde Park a couple of years ago, they played before Ben Harper and Counting Crows - they absolutely stole the show, they were incredible.

    Ben Harper &Relentless 7 played last year's HRC before Neil Young, so I'm not sure they will be back again, but it would be great if they were.

    I'd also love Jimmy Eat World to play - I remember Mike saying he was a fan of theirs. STP would be wicked, but I highly doubt they would ever want to support Pearl Jam, what with all the comparisons people made when they started out.

    There is usually a few british bands on the bill . I predict either Supergrass,Idlewild or maybe even the Buzzcocks.. Lets hope so.

    You're not likely to see AIC or Stereophonics as support acts in the UK. If Ben Harper played it would make it 3 years in a row for him but seeing him live is never a bad thing.

    How about The Strokes? They'll be at the Isle Of Wight Festival so they may end up playing a few Euro festivals this year

    Do you Brits like My Morning Jacket? They were PJ's best opening act ever IMO.

    I'm listening to MMJ as I type this! I agree, they're the best band I've seen opening for PJ and would be great at Hyde Park

    Idlewild, Supergrass or the Buzzcocks are all good shouts. I don't see why AIC wouldn't support PJ in the UK, they're not that big here. As for the Strokes, I think they're too big to be a support act, they're headliners at IOW Festival and I wouldn't be suprised if they're another headliner at HRC. Steroephonics are defo too big to support PJ in the UK.
