  • I don't see this as anything new, it just seems like the same old rumour rehashed. I don't think the fact it's from somerset gives it any more credibility. Will keep my fingers crossed for all u glasto ppl that it's true though.

I wouldn't count on it. That would mean 3 shows in 3 days in different cities and countries.

Glastonbury is only 130 miles from Hyde park, approx 2-3 hours car drive
No planes needed,or loads of equipment.....seems daft not to really
  • I GOD DAMN HOPE SO!!!

It is a guess, based upon 2 of last years Hyde Park headliners doing Glastonbury the same weekend. I very much doubt there is any truth in these rumours. Pearl Jam never play 3 nights in a row anymore, even when they're in the same city, we'd all love to think there's an exception to every rule but I'll be very surprised (and happy) if they are at Worthy Farm.
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits

    PJ is still considered "grungers"???

Bands are defined by their roots and where they came from. Grunge was PJ's vehicle, therefore they are grungers and will be for the rest of their career. Also, Eddie still looks like one :)
    I will swallow poison
  • I,m guessing that if this happens it will be the largest crowd PJ have played in front of ?

I was checking vrtual festivals for current rumours(PJ still there) and they have the capacity at 180000

Not sure on the exact numbers, but that'd be the site total, there would be about half that watching a main stage headliner I'd say with the number of stages and people just soaking up the festival atmosphere. As for PJ's largest crowd, it'd sure be up there but ppl say there were 100K at Lolla in Chicago or Bonnaroo.
