Alright brahs and non-brahs, it's 2010, and we're almost halfway into January. This is the time of year I like to call "The Long Haul". It's after Christmas and New Years, but it's still shitty and cold and snowy and just fucking terrible. So, here we go. Let's chat it up until that temperature gets above 60F!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't fucking stand this time of year. too cold to do anything, and nothing to look forward to except the spring.
    Peace, Love.

There are some really nice things about winter,
    fireplaces , firepits and chimineas
    woodpeckers on a suet cake
a deep cold breath into your lungs
    a heavy oversized stickman hoodie
hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps and mini marshmallows (don't lose 'em though)
    snow and icicles
    crocus in the snow
a warm bed and a warm friend :)
    when its over

This is the most depressing time of the year. If it wasn't for the football playoffs I would go crazy.

i don't mind the cold and snow. We grilled steak and salmon on sunday when the temp was in the low teens. If you live in a cold climate, you have to accept winter and enjoy it.

and stop using brah or i will call up Bessie and report you
81 is now off the air

Nothing to do? Strap on the snowboard and hit the slopes. Go snowshoe somewhere. Build a snow cave and go camping. On Thursday, I'm heading out on a 4 day expedition. Not sure where I might wind up exactly, but I know one thing, the cold isn't about to stop me.

Hey we grilled steak and salmon Sunday eve too (thought I'd be celebrating a Pack win)
the cold is all relative too- it was hovering just under 30 degrees and that was way cold for us
but not too cold to grill out never

The best thing is to find a bear den and sleep in there. It stinks a little but they really are warm. The trick is not waking the bear...

Luckily I got school to pass the time, but I also am not a fan of January and February...kind of a brutal, ugly stretch.
