The Golden Age.

Hey everyone,

For my 1000th post I just want to take a moment and say thanks to Pearl Jam and co. for the many years of great music. A lot of people consider the Ten/Vs. era PJs golden age, but I think the band is peaking now and I'm happy to be here for the ride.

We are fortunate to be witnessing a band who is old enough to be truly seasoned - with exceptional musicianship - yet still young enough to bring it on a nightly basis. The shows have never been better, and the setlists are somehow still surprising even when I'm expecting to be surprised (I'm looking at you Philly). It's clear that the band puts a lot of thought into each show they play, making every show worthy of attendance and every missed show feel like a sacrifice.

I'm certainly not suggesting that it's all downhill from here, but nothing lasts forever, so let's enjoy it while we have it. Soon enough it will be PJ looking well past their prime in a promo for a Super Bowl halftime show...

Be well,
Eduardo Veduardo.
