So my brother was married a few months ago and for the wedding party entrance/introduction into the reception hall he and his wife selected Zeppelin's "Bring it On Home" from How the West Was Won (Live). It's like a solid 1:30 with the audience clapping and harmonica/guitar before lyrics kick in. Long enough to announce four couples and then the bride & groom. Curious if anyone's ever a.) used or heard of a PJ tune for a wedding entrance or b.) can think of a good live PJ tune to use?

  • Just got married this past October. We walked out to Corduroy. It was pretty sweet, the DJ announced us during the intro, but we waited until the opening line when the music kicks in to actually walk out. The song doesn't have very good "wedding" lyrics, but we liked the opening line of "the waiting drove me mad" because we had been dating for like 10 years up until that point.

On a side note, our last dances were to Chris Cornell's version of Thank You, and Yellow Ledbetter finished the night off.
  • I walked down the ilse (how the hell do you spell ille? I'll?) with my brother best man to "Wasted Reprise" - CandleBox "Sometimes" was our first song to dance to right after the kiss- and we walked out of the church to "CopperHeadRoad"

I think it would be pretty bad ass to walk out to the opening of Severed Hand to be honest.

We walked out to RHCP Tell Me Baby... which is quite appropriate in my opinion because you can dance to it and the lyrics kinda fit introductions.
Here's a new demo called "in the fire":

The wife and I cut our cake to "Don't Gimme No Lip". That got a few laughs from my PJ friends.

    Master/Slave

I guess it depends on what you want to come out to...do you want to enter at a fast, medium, or slow pace?

there are different songs that apply to all emotions, I guess its what you feel at the time and what your bride would be willing to accept.

It's awesome that i married a big PJ fan. I took here to her 1st show 10-3-05 at the wachovia center and she fell in love all over again. She's now seen the boys 13 times to my 15. Our last song about 30 of us all got in a big circle and let YLB from Hawaii send us away. :D
