    it`s crazy windy here, some serious gusts, guess after a day of 6-8 Celsius the atmosphere is a little rocky

    saturday afternoon i turned from a rural road
    onto a much more rural road
    only going about 5 or 10 mph cuz it was treacherous to begin with
    and did a donut into someone's front yard
    then i steered out of that and did a donut in the opposite direction into someone else's front yard

    and THEN
    i turned on the 4WD :roll:

    maybe i shoulda done that a little sooner

    but today..sunny...warm...like spring

    I live in Alaska, and currently, we are on course to have the snowiest winter on record here.

    Crazy amounts of snow. It's barely stopped snowing since late October.

    Wow! That's definitely not the case with our winter here in Missouri. The temperature has been regularly in the 50's and it's been an incredibly warm winter so far. I believe the lowest it has gotten here is 12 degrees, but that's typically just at night and only for a couple days. We haven't had any real snow...just a light dusting. Such a strange winter...

    still waiting for winter here in eastern PA
    yes we've had a couple of inches of snow (once) and a coating (once) and some icy roads (once or twice)
    but basically, as is today, we've been quite mild, 40-50 degrees F
    colder at night...but so far no sustained freezing weather
    not that i'm complaining you understand
    but i think its an unhealthy thing for this part of the world
    and it kinda scares me that we've done some irreparable damage
    i remember snow on the ground at halloween when i was a kid
    now the kids are running around with a sweater, if that, under their costumes at trick or treat time

    its january, and the most i've needed outside is a hooded sweatshirt
