    Its cooled by us just a bit, 80's and 60's at night, comfortable. No windows yet but enjoyable again on the porch. The pool is still warm enough for evening swims but not for long, they are numbered now. Hot tub ready to go!

    Still waiting for the cool down here, this is the latest I can remember for that.

    Mid 90's again today and no rain.

    The garden is tired, the trees thirsty and longing for their rest, dying leaves on limb.
    There's a pond filled with traveling white herons, they linger longer enjoying summertime still.
    And the hummingbirds, extra fat for the miles ahead, slowly lift off from the feeders,
    the anticipated cool down will send them on their way.

    Please come soon Fall, we are waiting!
