I had the air-raid sirens go off 10pm last night. Luckily, there were no confirmed tornado touchdowns but the winds got up to 80 mph and still caused a lot of damage. We got over 2 inches of rain in 15 minutes. The good news is the weather is supposed to be nice today but more storms are fore-casted over the weekend.
It is kind of weird that I have to crawl in my basement 2-3 times each year and pray the hand of god doesn't wipe me out. Such is life.

Last night it thundered and rained hard all night. It was a rolling thunder that never stopped. No lightening. I liked it!!
Its been hot and humid. That rain brought the humidity way down. Had a great day today. 80 degrees with no humidity and a gentle breeze.
