It seems the farthest thing from putting in his head is what if the shoes where on his foot. Come on I dont know anyone who could afford health care that consists of more than doctor visits. WE ALL NEED TO GET THIS THING ORGANIZED AND FIXED YESTERDAY.The money is there just gonna make some promised/lied to rich man not making as many deposits into his bank a little angry. I have a hard time with this typing crap Im more face to face and see who has the balls to say what he feels and not what his financial planner says.Im just mad I have a wife with a brain tumor 1 medicine cost $16,000 and My daughter is a juvenile diabetic never mind her cost and my time to miss work to drive them 3-8 times monthly. Lets all getter done.

Some words when spoken...Can't be taken back...
  • healthcare is not a right, if you are concerned about your health, maybe you should do what the insurance companies do. Invest your money and make it more. Then pay your doctor. No one is paying for my healthcare. Why should i pay for theirs?

then why should i pay for the police to protect you or your family? why should i pay the fire department to put out your burning home? why can't you handle it? why should i pay for the roads you drive on? why should i pay to support a library? be a good little consumer and just buy the book.

is that how health insurance companies make their money? really? by investing?? cause here i thought they made most of it by charging everyone a premium and finding ways to use as little of that money as possible on health care? i guess it's just a strange coincidence every year the premiums go up and using your insurance becomes more of a hassle with unnecessary paperwork, rebates, waiting, money out of your pocket waiting to be reimbursed with less and less coverage?

so, what you are saying is everyone should save up a huge amount just in case they end up getting cancer or something or if they don't and get cancer too fucking bad for you?

  • I agree with the judge. However something has to happen with high cost of premiums. If we could purchase Ins. across state lines it would create more competion which would result in more affordable health Ins. For Example: You can purchase Auto Ins across stae lines. Those companies are always competing with one another.

you're already paying for it genius. where do u think the money comes from when someone without insurance needs emergency medical care? it gets tacked on to hospital bills, premiums, etc. it's the selfish like yourself who would rather spite themselves to adhere to your "principles' in lieu of being part of the solution. so, under your scenario someone who doesn't have the money to invest and "make more" is just pretty much fucked. Is that accurate?

it never ceases to amaze me at how far we have fallen as a society in this country. at some point a sizeable portion of the population bought into the selfish, greedy, "take as much money as I can and fuck everybody else" part of capitalism as if it were the words of God himself. in a country with as many resources as we have it is inexcusable that this viewpoint is even legitimized. The rest of the world figured out a long time ago that EVERYONE benefits from universal health care. That includes you, mrvedderson.
