At a convenience store. I used to work in Chicago. Oh I did but I don't anymore. A woman walked in with porcelain skin. I asked her what she came in for. "Liquor" she said. So lick her, I did. Now I don't a-work there no more.

Just listening to the 07 Vic boot and wondered what the atmosphere was like during Ed's opening set that night? Anyone? I know it was 10c only, wish I was there.

We would sing this as a dirty jokes opportunity on bus rides etc. to overnight camp as a staff member... my favourite is pretty damn disgusting, but here it is.. "a woman came in for a bowling ball from the store. A bowling ball she wanted, three fingers in her and thrown in the gutter she got!"

The proper word is EPIC. Most of us had been standing in line outside the show for hours getting to know people and being bombarded by offers from people willing to pay four figures per ticket.

We were hoping for a legendary show with all kinds of rarities, since pretty much everyone at that show had been to plenty of PJ shows. Then they opened with All or None and Education and we knew it was going to be insane.

Thanks for that kid canada. Sounds like it was a zoo outside.

Was everyone there for Ed's mini-set? Some empty seats? How known was it that he would play a few before the full band came on? What time did they open doors?

  • It was a general admission show, so everybody was there for the preset. Word started circulating outside the show, a few hours prior to doors, that Eddie would be the opening band. So most of us knew what was in store.. but when the first notes of 'trouble' echoed through that small room... I think most of us were still shocked by what was happening on stage... this of course inspired us to hop on the EV solo tour bandwagon... which proved to be a special experience in itself.

Saw him at the Opera House in Boston and was floored. It must have been amazing witnessing that. Thanks for your description as well.
