Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

  • I was incredibly disappointed that other countries on the Europe leg got MMJ, and we Irish got Paddy f'n Casey. I mean... nothing against the guy, but come on! :p:o

They opened a percentage of the 2006 European tour, but not Berlin, we got The Black Keys..and there was a gang of Irish boys there, drunker than I think I've ever seen anyone ever, even myself in my teens.....howling, falling down pissed they were. Good job they weren't supporting.
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

I take either of those (yes, even Paddy! he might hate PJ and took the piss out of us, but he was still more interesting!) over MMJ any fucking day!!
I actually really like Black Keys and went back to see them in London on their own..damn they played last week and playing next week, both on a day I'm going to the theatre! bugger!

we got MMJ from Lisbon to Pistoia in 06... 8 too many fucking times in my case!!
if I never see them again it'll be too soon! (and I had to sleep through them at lollapalooza too  )

I will stay as far as I possibly can both in Bonnaroo and Werchter! I don't care what's on the other stages, it has to be less mind-numbingly boring!

take a band whose music you find dull on record in the first place, and in particular because they use a stupid voice box that makes every song sound the same (without being able to understand a word of the lyrics) and live they jam, at the end, of EVERY song for what seem like hours..
then get 'forced' (because it's a GA show, you want to be close to the main band, which since it's GA in Europe with insanely tight crowds and you're only 5'5 and want to be able to both breathe and see so you've been queuing since 9am for that) to watch it 8 times.
then tell me how you don't hate them... frankly, of the Euro crowd, it's a tiny minority that actually liked them! most didn't care and were bored or like me grew to actually hate their guts!

but then PJ euro fans are mostly a Rock crowd (and I mean ROCK..not mainstream, not your equivalent of fratboys, they'd never even heard of them!)
