What the fuck is the point of records if they are sealed? I understand some people are only in it for a buck but fans of the band? Isn't it about the music?

I just inherited a shit load of classic rock lp's from my parents, some are beat up, some are in great shape. I don't give a shit what they are worth. I have enjoyed listening to some awesome albums.

Autographs and memorbilia I understand. I have a whole bunch of Yankees shit that must stay in mint condition but records are different in my opinion.

Chill Cliffy. I was just asking to see what the majority would say. I've already opened both and at the moment listening to sometimes for the first time on vinyl.

    p.s.

its got the cool polariods to go with the no code lp. :D

I have opened both of them, as well as every other record I own.

So, I say you too should open and spin both of them!

Of course, I got over 2000 vinyl records and only one sealed. Neil Youngs Sugar Mountain, and that is because I got two.

Spin The Black Circle for Gods Dice.

  • I open all my PJ vinyl. You can't play it if it's sealed ;)

I don't collect PJ vinyl to sell it so value makes no difference to me :)
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
