This is not a thread about being dumped or loss love.

I know there are always a couple threads about loss love or she/he dumped me. Trust me been there b4. But what about a thread for those who have found somebody new in their lives? Ok I'll go first why cause I started this thread. lol

2010 has started out just great cause IMO I have found the girl of my dreams. We have so many interests and have so much in commen. Met her through a friend and we started talking just after Thanksgiving and then alot more around Christmas and now it's a daily thing. There is a small distance between us but nothing we both can't handle or fix. We like the same old movies and when I say old movies I mean movies from the 50's and 60's. From Barefoot in the Park to It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World. We both were exchange students and both lived in Germany a few years back. She's not really a PJ fan but I kinda dig that about her. And we like alot of the same other music anyway. We both have folks who have health issues and understand each other how stressful that can be. We both have said how it's so easy to talk to each other about anything and everything. And oh yea she is drop dead gorgeous. ;)

So as I enjoy the day off and watch the snow fall. I smile for so many reasons and look ahead to a great year.

I wish you all a very happy 2010 and beyond. :)

Peace

    Happy New Year Patrick!

Congrats to you..that's awesome. I'm reluctant to discuss my personal life on message boards..I did too much of that in the past.

Met her threw a friend and we started talking

Patrick, either you are really strong, or your friend is a midget, but either way, you shouldn't throw them. That just seems mean...

I'm consantly amazed with the amount of personal information people share on this board.

Well, I guess it's people's choice to do that. I'm just not comfortable with sharing some aspects of my life.

Patrick..I didn't mean to imply anything. I was just referring to what you said about people sharing negative stuff. :)

shoveling is really good for the soul- in that beautiful white world- somehow just bonds you with nature
snow is magical- you go to sleep in one world and wake up in entirely different one
they tease me here- we are supposed to get an inch today - I'll take any
I bet you are extra happy today :D
