Do you mean the PayPal Credit Card, or the PayPal Debit Card? The Credit Card is a separate source of money, and is not tied into your PayPal account - the Debit card takes money directly from your funds.

Plus I'm not sure I understand. Before you can open a PayPal account, you're supposed to have a source of backup funding, i.e. a checking or savings account from a bank. How did you manage to open up a PayPal account without one?

  • Greece must have different rules than America. When I opened my PayPal account, I had no choice but to link a bank account first. Adding a second credit card was an extra option later on.

It seems very strange that you have no way of taking out money that people send to you. You will need to ask PayPal. They will probably tell you to add a bank account and wait. OR they might want you to get their special PayPal debit card because they will make MORE money from it!

  • i did my paypal without a banking account for a long time. just had a credit card. it will list you as unvarified.
i never knew you could take your paypal balance and put it on your credit card. i know they can transfer it to a banking account but not credit card. i always have them send me a check.
