6. Black, Red, Yellow (very underrated song. This is like a precursor to The Fixer ((which could be the problem for most people. I dont like the Fixer anywhere as much as BRY, just using it as an example)). A loose fun song when PJ didnt do that kind of thing. The only song I can think of like it up to that time was Satan's Bed. This song is a nice change from what they were doing at the time. Still love the feel and like someone else posted, they should break this out live. It's time. For example, right between Gonna See My Friend and Breakerfall would be sick. Anyway . . . )

Huh ... Having now done this exercise, it strikes me as to why No Code may have hit a wrong chord when it first came out and has since become more appreciated in the PJ pantheon ... and that is that it's largely the slow songs that are the better songs and some of the hardest rockers fall to the bottom.

Of course ... someone could rank these in the completely opposite direction (and probably will!)

Hopefully Off He Goes gets more love b4 its over and No Code was great time in PJ history (and at the time underrated) but memorable none the less

Off He Goes was one of the first songs I loved by PJ. When I told my friend this, a longtime fan himself, he declared me a "real" fan, lol. I still love it and it will be my #1 when I get to my rankings!

yeah, I mean - I tend to side with the "Present Tense is slightly over-rated" crowd, but I think the "Present Tense is one of the greatest PJ songs ever" crowd has a legit opinion.

look, I'm all for the whole "to each his/her own" thing

but there's a point where it becomes literally insane. thinking that a song like Don't Gimme No Lip is better than a song like Present Tense means you a) know little to nothing about music and b) even less about humanity as a whole.

I don't mean to rip this eeriepadave guy but is there an explanation for this? like you were listening to Present Tense when you found out your dog died or something and you can't bear to listen to it now because it's too painful?

Like Yield i thought this would be pretty close Johnny!!!!

The only thing id love to see is more love for Around the Bend! And Hail Hail higher than Present Tense and Red Moz is a little surprising.
